Taiwan Tour 2019

MCSA is delighted that planning is well underway for our Taiwan Tour in September 2019.

Whilst we will have more to share in the coming weeks, key details include:
** The touring dates: Arrival 17/09/2019 – Departure 22/09/2019
** Two games scheduled for 18 & 20th September 2019

Work has now commenced selecting our MCSA United squad. Our aim is to have the best available squad possible to represent MCSA. Whilst a player’s skill and form are important considerations, as MCSA ambassadors, appropriate behavior and attitude are paramount.

MCSA is now inviting expression of interest from players to join the MCSA United squad. You should direct all initial communications and inquiries (before Sunday, the 15th July) to:

2018 China Tour – Jiamusha

Cong Yi FC 2:3 MCSA United

This tour provided the players from our 4 grass root level community leagues an opportunity to play football overseas, make new friends, and embrace other cultures – balancing football, friendship, and culture.

MCSA is community football. We proudly showcase Melbourne’s vibrant community football and our diversity on the world stage.

MCSA China Tour 2018

After a successful tour in 2017, MCSA United returned to Guangzhou, China at the end of our 2018 winter season. This tour provided the players in our 4 grass root level community leagues an opportunity to play football overseas, make new friends, and embrace other cultures – balancing football, friendship, and culture.
Our first stop was to visit our friends in Jiamusha for the Jiamusha Cup against Cong Yi FC. Our squad then reached out to new friends in ShenZhen for the Leopard Cup against ShenZhen Pacific and then against Jiangmen Hua Ji FC in Taishan.
The following album highlighted many on and off-field moments that our squad experienced and enjoyed.

Sincere thanks to our hosts and friends from Jiamusha, Hui zhou and Tai Shan for their hospitality and friendship. Special thanks to Li Jun who put everything together in Guangzhou. Thank you Bill Lau, Jack Ngo and Danny Chan for your encouragement, assistance and financial support; Will Intan our coach; Brandon Chhan our team manager and Nason Mwanza our social media and communication manager, we appreciate your dedication and effort. Finally, thank you to our MCSA United squad who represented MCSA and grass root community football in an exemplary manner.

MCSA is Football. We aim to proudly showcase Melbourne’s vibrant community football and our diversity on the world stage.

Sincere thanks to Will and others for the photos.
